Your Role
As the Strategic Change Business Leader within the Finance & Risk Data Domain, you will be responsible for safeguarding the vision and strategic direction of our department. Your primary objective is to ensure that this vision is effectively articulated, translated into a practical strategy, and underpinned by a robust architectural framework. You will oversee the management of the project portfolio within the domain, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of both internal and external factors that may influence our operations, particularly in the realms of Data Management and Regulatory compliance.
This role requires a deep familiarity with key regulatory frameworks, including BCBS239, Basel IV, EBA LOM, and the ECB Guide on Climate-related and Environmental risks, among others. You will lead a dedicated team of professionals committed to driving transformative change and supporting departmental objectives. Collaboration with stakeholders across Risk Management, Finance, Business Lines, Enterprise Architecture, and IT will be essential.
Working Environment
The Finance & Risk Data Domain is a vital component of the Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), actively engaging with all Finance and Risk departments. Our team comprises over 250 international experts from diverse backgrounds, all united in the mission to elevate risk data management to new heights. We are dedicated to delivering reliable Finance & Risk data promptly by enhancing data quality, systems, and processes, all within an Agile operational framework. The atmosphere within our domain is dynamic, open, and informal, fostering collaboration and innovation.
The Strategic Change & Portfolio Management Department plays a crucial role in maintaining the vision and architecture of the Finance & Risk Data Domain. This department is pivotal in steering the overall project portfolio and aligning it with the change initiatives of other departments. Additionally, SC&PM is responsible for budget management, facilitating the Management Team, ensuring high-quality management information, and providing secretarial support for the Data Domain Owner.
Your Profile
We seek an accomplished leader with extensive experience in Finance, Risk Management, Change Management, and/or Data Management, preferably within a banking or financial institution or a consultancy setting. You should be well-versed in the regulatory landscape affecting our operations and possess a proven track record in team building and leadership. Your focus on collaboration, innovation, and goal achievement, coupled with exceptional communication skills, will be key to your success in this role. A data-driven mindset and a commitment to Agile methodologies are essential.
Do you meet the following criteria?
- A completed higher professional education (HBO) or university degree (WO) with at least 15 years of relevant experience in Finance, Risk Management, Data Management, or Change Management.
- Experience leading a team of professionals in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Data Management, Change Management, or Organizational Development Best Practices.
- Familiarity with a wide range of regulatory reporting requirements impacting Finance & Risk data.
- Strong communication skills and excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
- Advisory and implementation expertise.
