Job Title: Quality Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Covebo. As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our aluminium cans and measurement devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and report on aluminium cans technological parameters to ensure compliance with customer requirements and KPIs.
  • Ensure the efficiency of measurement devices and parameters, and supervise instructions and compliance with requirements.
  • Organise service visits and maintain measuring equipment calibration/service schedule.
  • Undertake investigations, quality improvement projects, and data collection exercises to support the business and customer initiatives.
  • Apply SPC and Minitab Process control methods for analysing data and evaluating process changes.
  • Internal metrological verifications, calibrations, and qualifications of all measuring and control devices.
  • Ensure operation and conservation of measuring equipment in accordance with supplier service instructions.
  • Remove insignificant damages of measurement devices and create specific internal instructions.
  • Perform statistical analysis of quality parameters and keep records of any quality issues.
  • Carry out internal training for employees and introduce new instructions and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum secondary education with additional education in the quality field.
  • Experience in a Quality Control role.
  • Ability to use measurement devices, test equipment, and tools.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, BRC, HACCP principles, and health & safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of SPC, MINITAB, Statistica.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and in a team effort.
