Job Overview

The Tax team is responsible for managing local tax affairs in cooperation with other key stakeholders. As a Tax Manager, you will lead E2E tax initiatives for our Benelux brands and report directly to the CFO of our Benelux business.

This is a hybrid role, and our office is based in Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact in all Dutch and Belgian taxes, accountable for any tax matter related to Benelux.

  • Responsible for all current and deferred taxes, tax risks of Dutch and Belgian affairs, tax audits, and tax projects.

  • Support monthly and quarterly closings, prepare the quarterly tax reporting packages, and support the year-end tax provision calculation.

  • Review and approve Dutch and Belgian tax declarations and returns, currently prepared by our tax compliance partner.

  • Support leadership in ad-hoc tax-related requests.

  • Provide tax accounting support in coordination with the local controlling department and external BPO.

  • Manage the relationship with local tax service providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance or similar.

  • At least 8 years of experience in an international global environment.

  • Fluent in Dutch and English.

  • Strong local Dutch GAAP audit knowledge and experience with ERP software (SAP S4 HANA or similar).

  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders at multiple levels and influence them.
