Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our Partnership & Business Development team at SNV. As a Partnership Development Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our engagement strategy with Dutch Development Cooperation stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in researching and writing policy papers and reports on Dutch Development policy and politics.
  • Conduct market research and stakeholder mapping analysis to identify new partnership opportunities.
  • Support the development, scheduling, and facilitation of face-to-face and virtual meetings with Development Cooperation stakeholders.
  • Prepare documents for meetings and take notes during meetings.
  • Disseminate documents for review and monitor the review process.
  • Provide scheduling and knowledge management assistance.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as International Development, Political Science, or International Relations.
  • Full proficiency in Dutch and strong writing and speaking ability in English.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with attention to detail.
  • Good internet research skills.
  • Social media skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Teams is highly desirable.
  • To be eligible for this internship, you must be enrolled in an accredited Dutch University for the entire duration of the internship (6 months).
What We Offer
  • Internship agreement for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
  • 32-40 hours a week (4-5 days).
  • Allowance of gross €500 euros per month (based on 40 hours) and reimbursement of public transport costs.
