Rivertech is seeking a highly skilled Locks and Docks Manager to join our Nautical Department in Arnhem. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our river cruise operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sailing schedules and coordinate docking reservations to optimize fleet utilization and minimize delays.
- Collaborate with Corporate Fleet Managers, port authorities, captains, and client itinerary planners to ensure seamless execution of sailing programs.
- Book harbors and dockings, and arrange reservations for water, fuel, and electricity.
- Process invoices and reports, and perform administrative tasks related to the role.
- Adjust sailing programs as needed to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Medium Vocational Education in administration, tourism, events, or similar.
- Familiarity with Office 365 and proficiency in English and German. French is an asset.
- Accurate and precise, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
