Accounting Executive (multiple vacancies) in the Finance and Enterprises Office (Ref.: to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Key Qualifications:

Minimum Level 2 in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language, and Mathematics, OR 5 passes in HKCEE including English (minimum Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007), and Mathematics; A minimum of 1 year of professional experience, ideally in accounting, auditing, or banking; Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua); Strong knowledge of PC and software applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Familiarity with Oracle Financials is advantageous; Self-driven and a collaborative team player, capable of working independently; Membership as a student of a professional accounting body is a plus; and Recent university graduates will also be considered.

Core Responsibilities:

Managing various financial functions for Faculties and Departments; Performing general accounting tasks such as budgetary oversight, processing payments and receipts, and preparing and posting journal entries; Compiling statements of account for funding organizations; Conducting data entry and clerical tasks; and Undertaking additional accounting responsibilities as required.

Subject to performance evaluation, high achievers will have the opportunity for promotion to Accounting Officer. Those who have previously applied need not re-apply.
