Functional Application Manager

As a Functional Application Manager, you will contribute to a stable and efficient IT Service management organization. You will take ownership of the Identity and Access Management suite (IdentityNow) and our main ITSM tool (Jira). Your responsibilities will include configuring roles and entitlements to grant employees access to systems on a need-to-know basis, ensuring employees are granted the correct roles automatically, and advising system owners on authorization management and design.

Additionally, you will work with the IAM team to ensure timely access reviews and identify inefficiencies and suggest process improvements. You will also be responsible for maintaining the authorization design, creating and modifying project and related workflows in Jira.

The Team

The IT Services team consists of 4 1st line support engineers, 4 2nd line system administrators, 2 IT process managers, and 2 Functional Application Managers. The team provides an excellent digital workspace and experience towards our colleagues. The team reports to the IT Services Lead within the IT Functions and Foundation stream.

Skills and knowledge we would love to see:

  • English and Dutch, both written and spoken
  • Experience with or the will to learn Azure Active Directory
  • Experience with or the will to learn IdentityNow
  • Experience with or the will to learn Jira
  • ITL Certified
  • Familiar with role-based access control (RBAC) and Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Familiar with ticketing systems
