Finance Domestic Bank is responsible for the financial accounting and statutory/regulatory reporting of all Retail activities in ING's home market, with a Balance Sheet of 200 billion euros and responsible for 40% of ING's worldwide profit. The Financial Accounting tribe aims to balance high-speed delivery of regulatory changes with efficient and standardized working processes to handle vast data sets under IFRS and ECB rules.

Assignments in the Financial Accounting tribe cover various aspects of the Finance world, including accounting dilemmas, ESG requirements, Basel regulation updates, and technical challenges in data warehouses. About the Role

Liquidity & Statistical Reporting Services plays a vital role in preparing regulatory data and reporting to internal and external stakeholders for Domestic Bank Netherlands. The scope of reporting includes:

  • Liquidity Coverage Ratio
  • Additional Monitoring Metrics report
  • Foreign Currency
  • Liability Data Report
  • Net Stable Funding Ratio
  • Systematic Important Financial Institutions reports
  • Country Risk
  • Macro-Economic Statistical Reportage
  • Inter Bank Offered Rate reporting
  • Deposit Guarantee Scheme
  • Security Holding Statistics

The liquidity reporting contains all data elements related to the balance sheet of Domestic Bank Netherlands, making it one of the most comprehensive reports to oversee. Liquidity reporting is continuously developed, with improvements and automation of daily liquidity reporting and ECB stress testing, which has evolved into a daily and weekly regulatory requirement. The team also focuses on innovation using new technologies like SAS EG to automate manual processes within Financial Reporting while ensuring process compliance.
