For Finance, this means continuously adapting to business changes, regulatory requirements, and statutory reporting demands, while improving processes and maintaining control over ING's financials. Our Finance Domestic Bank team is responsible for the financial accounting and statutory/regulatory reporting of all Retail activities in ING's home market, with a Balance Sheet of 200 billion euros and accounting for 40% of ING's worldwide financial accounting.

In our Financial Accounting tribe, you'll have the opportunity to work on assignments covering every aspect of Finance, from accounting dilemmas and ESG requirements to Basel regulation updates and technical challenges in our data warehouses. You'll be part of a dynamic and international team, with a wide range of experiences, significant responsibilities, and development opportunities.

About the Team

This team consists of 6 FTE, with a diverse mix of nationalities, ages, experience, and gender. We prioritize creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a comparable field
  • Experience with international accounting standards (IFRS) and prior work experience in a banking environment
  • Experience dealing with important stakeholders, such as external accountants
  • Affinity and experience with big IT change programs and process improvements, with a passion for innovation
  • A strong customer focus and ability to collaborate with people in various roles and squads
  • Skills to motivate, empower, and stimulate people, with strong collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with an eye for detail
