Physics and Mathematics Internship: Vacuum System Machine Data Analysis

ASML is a leading company in the development of lithography machines for the production of integrated circuits. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled intern to join our team in the Machine Conditioning Defectivity & OLT Solutions department.
Job DescriptionThe Machine Conditioning Defectivity & OLT Solutions department develops and implements solutions to protect the optical column, reticles, and wafers within the scanner. The vacuum architecture group is part of this department and has the knowledge to specify, model, design, and test gas flow-systems and their behavior under sub-atmospheric conditions in the EUV scanner.
The goal of this internship is to build software tooling to integrate statistical process control of vacuum systems machine data and signals. This will involve analyzing fleet data, testing and designing statistical rules based on data distributions and time behavior, and creating dashboards and automation of statistical process evaluation for real-time SPC monitoring.
Requirements- Bachelor student looking for a graduation internship or a master student looking for an apprentice internship;
- Pursuing technical education in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, (Applied) Physics, or comparable;
- Proficiency in Python scripting, MATLAB programming, and statistics;
- A team player, have creative mindset, complimented with can-do attitude, and strong analytical skills;
- Fluent in English both verbal and in written.
