About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Turnaround Planner to join our team in the Netherlands. As a Turnaround Planner, you will be responsible for effectively planning, coordinating, and executing various projects related to maintenance activities within our diverse Turnarounds. You will play a key role in achieving project objectives and contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to projects and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- You will contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to projects and Turnarounds, taking into account existing guidelines and procedures.
- You will ensure that you have coordinated with HSE on the preparation to perform the work safely.
- You will be responsible for the settlement of external contracts: material specification and procurement.
- You will identify problems in achieving planned goals or work and come up with solutions.
- You will organize site visits with relevant stakeholders to gain insight and agreement on the scope of work. You will agree on the scope of work with both internal (Westlake) and external stakeholders.
- You will receive and link complaints/remarks about contractors back to management and come up with improvement proposals.
- You will perform administrative tasks such as handling invoices, ordering materials, closing and updating work orders, and related documentation.
- You will agree with your internal or external stakeholders on the throughput time of services and/or delivery of materials. You will stimulate the work-in-progress of both prepared and unprepared work.
Your Profile
- You have an MBO+/HBO technical vocational education (Mechanical Engineering, E&I, Rotating or equivalent).
- You have 2-5 years of experience in a chemical production environment, of which 2 years as a technical executive or 3 years of experience in a similar function in the process industry.
- You have knowledge or are willing to acquire knowledge of CMMS systems such as SAP and have an affinity with IT.
- You are communicatively skilled, customer-oriented, cost-conscious, and a true team player.
- You can convincingly and decisively influence processes and people to continuously improve.
- You are meticulous and can independently prepare work and plan maintenance activities.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from €4,500.00 to €5,900.00, depending on education level and work experience.
