About the Role

The TMT & Healthcare sector team at ING Wholesale Banking is seeking an ambitious professional to join our team in Amsterdam as a Coverage Banker. This exciting position offers a unique opportunity to work in an international environment and contribute to the growth of our clients in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare and pharmaceutical industry leaders and sector participants
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector, including industry trends and developments
  • Drive strategic dialogue with clients and discuss beyond-banking initiatives
  • Maintain active contacts with other departments within ING, including Corporate Finance, Lending, and Risk Management
  • Proactively generate opportunities and transactions, contributing to the origination efforts of the team and local relationship managers
  • Originate flow business and deal opportunities, and oversee the delivery of high-quality and seamless customer due diligence and transaction execution
  • Structure deals and oversee the negotiating of transactions in which ING acts as lead arranger
  • Guide team members and Lending bankers on financial models, credit analyses, rating profiles, and peer group analysis
  • Assess and review industry reports and due diligence on clients in the dynamic sector
  • Direct balance sheet distribution and the syndication or coordination of transactions
  • Guide, train, and supervise Associates and Analysts in the team
