PhD Position in Biomedical Optics

Our research group at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to work on the development of advanced optical imaging techniques for biomedical applications. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of novel optical imaging systems and algorithms for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as cancer.
The project involves the design and development of optical imaging systems, including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and fluorescence microscopy. The candidate will work closely with our team of researchers and engineers to develop and test new imaging techniques, and will have the opportunity to collaborate with clinicians and researchers from other institutions.
