At ASM Pacific Technology, we are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team. As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the final testing of our Laser Separation System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Innovation team to develop, execute, and report verification and validation tests at system level.
  • Prepare and execute tests in close collaboration with colleagues from the Software, Innovation, Application & Process development, and Service groups.
  • Ensure the test execution for new software and hardware functionality and regression tests.

Requirements:

  • Profound knowledge of design and verification of control system software and other real-time embedded software.
  • Relevant experience in design and architecture of software test frameworks to execute automatic testing.
  • Experience with test frameworks and Agile project management.
  • Relevant experience in Industrial machine control and the full software life cycle – requirements capturing, design, implementation, test & integration, sustaining.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for bridging the gap to different disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A completed HBO/WO education in the direction of Informatics or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in verifying and validating functionality at system level.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development environment and TMAP Next and/or ISTQB Foundation certification.
