Job SummaryThe Global Technology Procurement Manager will serve as a key member of the Global Technology Procurement Team, responsible for identifying and managing strategic suppliers and partners that align with our company's objectives. This role will involve leading global projects, developing negotiation strategies, and ensuring adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Global Projects: Develop and execute bid strategies, manage the RFP process, and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Develop Negotiation Strategies: Collaborate with stakeholders to create and drive strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Tech Leadership, legal, global Information security, and data privacy teams to create and drive strategy.
- Ensure Adherence to Procurement Policies: Ensure a uniform method of work that delivers exceptional performance values for Arcadis and its clients.
- Manage Spend: Effectively execute the Global Technology Officer's strategic vision, managing spend in IT categories including software, hardware, and services.
- Communicate and Collaborate: Advocate best-in-class procurement practices, communicating and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholder groups.
- Degree Qualification: Degree qualified (Master preferred but not essential) in business, finance, IT, or equivalent.
- Experience: Significant experience working within indirect procurement, across technology, ideally across hardware, software, and IT services, within a large matrix organization.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrate experience being a strategic thinker, who can contribute ideas and perspective to procurement and tech leaders.
- Leadership Skills: Lead multimillion-dollar deals, communicate and present to senior-level executives, with an ability to grasp business objectives and strategies.
- Problem-Solving: Show experience in problem-solving complex contractual challenges and bringing a solution-focused approach with a client-focused mindset.
