Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our operations in Taiwan. As the country representative, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring the successful execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Fugro representative in Taiwan, building strong relationships with clients, governments, and other stakeholders.
  • Create an inspiring work environment, delivering high-quality communication to local staff and attracting top talent.
  • Host and facilitate local business/service lines, coordinating the optimal deployment of people and assets.
  • Engage with key clients, ensuring a cross-business line, integrated offering of Fugro services.
  • Manage office facilities, proposing investments and divestments to the Group Director.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory and legislation, representing the management of the company to local works councils.
  • Drive adherence to Fugro's HSSE Management Systems, policies, and standards.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Business or Technical discipline.
  • 8-10 years of relevant working experience, with 3-8 years in a management role.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes with others.
  • Result-driven and highly motivated.
