Automation Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Sales Specialist to join our team at Emerson. In this role, you will be responsible for all sales operations within the assigned territory, ensuring that you meet the set targets for sales, bookings, and strategic goals related to Emerson's range of automation products and services.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a strong understanding of automation technologies. You will work closely with the Benelux Sales Manager to enhance opportunities in the region and develop new business within the assigned industry segments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your accounts; building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to optimize profit.
  • Managing all activities to develop our business in the assigned industry segments. Actively visiting existing/potential customers to promote the assigned product lines, entire product portfolio and services.
  • Negotiating with Customer relevant Business Contracts within the agreed Delegation of Authority – including discount and price; drive sales and proposal strategies with the sales support organization.
  • Overseeing, ensuring and personally supporting the execution of committed contractual terms to customers in all business transactions.
  • Continuously driving the improvement of customer satisfaction by understanding, communicating and implementing solutions to their needs.
  • Participating in customer development activities such as trade shows, fairs, conferences aiming to promote the sale of products, solutions and services of designated region.
  • Maintaining and continuously developing high level of products and technologies knowledge required to perform the job.
  • Ensuring that all transactions are properly screened and recorded in accordance with the company's Trade Compliance procedures and escalating any concerns or questions to the local Gatekeeper.
