Automation Territory Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Outside Sales Engineer to cover the Southern region of The Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for all sales operations within the assigned territory, ensuring that you meet the set targets for sales, bookings, and strategic goals related to Emerson's range of automation products and services.
Your primary focus will be on developing new business opportunities and growing existing ones within the region. This includes sales to selected customers and defined segments, such as Factory Automation, Industrial Automation, and/or specific industry sectors.
You will work closely with the Benelux Sales Manager to enhance opportunities in the region and provide exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your accounts and building strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to optimize profit.
- Managing all activities to develop our business in the assigned industry segments and actively visiting existing/potential customers to promote assigned product lines.
- Negotiating with customers relevant business contracts within the agreed Delegation of Authority.
- Overseeing, ensuring, and personally supporting the execution of committed contractual terms to customers in all business transactions.
- Continuously driving the improvement of customer satisfaction by understanding, communicating, and implementing solutions to their needs.
- Participating in customer development activities such as trade shows, fairs, conferences aiming to promote the sale of products, solutions, and services of the designated region.
- Maintaining and continuously developing a high level of products and technologies knowledge required to perform the job.
- Ensuring that all transactions are properly screened and recorded in accordance with the company's Trade Compliance procedures and escalating any concerns or questions to the local Gatekeeper.
