About Adyen

Adyen is a financial technology platform that provides payments, data, and financial products to customers like Facebook, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft.

We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Amsterdam and help us deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement production-ready machine learning solutions that power data products at Adyen.
  • Research and develop algorithms that solve complex problems in areas like anti-money laundering, real-time anomaly detection, and clustering.
  • Develop orchestrated pipelines for analytical purposes and machine learning training.
  • Contribute to ongoing automation efforts for experiments, training runs, validation runs, and monitoring.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the machine learning field and apply this where applicable.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a machine learning or data scientist.
  • Experience with the full machine learning model lifecycle in production flows.
  • Strong familiarity with standard data science toolkit, including (py)spark, (Trino) SQL, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, XGBoost/LightGBM, Pandas, MLFlow, and Airflow.
  • Experimental mindset with a launch fast and iterate mentality.
  • Proactive leadership in projects from ideation to deployment.
