The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Officer to join our IT Special Domains department. As a key member of our team, you will support IT project managers in delivering project governance principles and improving project management maturity across the IT department.
Key Responsibilities- Support IT project managers in project initiation, including proposal drafting, project planning, and budgeting.
- Act as a liaison between IT project managers and IT business controllers.
- Monitor project progress, identify dependencies and risks, and report insights to IT management.
- Manage and empower project stakeholders from both business and IT.
- Support IT project managers in finalizing projects by documenting lessons learned and archiving project documents.
- Assist in managing the IT project portfolio by maintaining project information.
- Onboard new IT project managers with regards to IT project management processes, templates, and tools.
- Relevant Bachelor's degree, preferably complemented with project management qualifications.
- Five to ten years of experience in project management and portfolio management in a large, international organization.
- Sound knowledge of PMBOK and/or Prince2, Agile/Scrum, and experience in Waterfall and Agile/Scrum projects.
- Experience with project financials and implementation of change and improvement projects.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products, MS Project, and SharePoint.
- Good command of Dutch and English language written and verbal.
- Excellent references and a pre-employment security screening.
