Job Summary

Hotel Okura Amsterdam is seeking an experienced and passionate leader to oversee the reservation team in creating exceptional guest experiences. As part of the Commercial Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in determining the commercial strategy, optimizing operations, and achieving financial and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage individual and group reservations for rooms, restaurants, spa, and bars.
  • Define and implement commercial strategies while overseeing the performance of the reservations department.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments in our commercial division, such as Sales, Conference & Events, Revenue Management, and Marketing & Communication.
  • Monitor daily operations of the department and optimize revenues across all departments.
  • Ensure timely and error-free communication with all guests and colleagues.
  • Improve the efficiency and quality of work of the reservations department according to the LEAN culture.
What We Offer
  • Contract: 1 year with the possibility of extending.
  • Salary: Group 8.
  • Bonus: 1 week salary if SMART goals are met.

  • After obtaining the probationary period, you will receive an overnight stay with breakfast as a gift (2 people).
Requirements
  • Work experience in a similar position.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language (both spoken as written).
  • Commercially driven.
  • Self-starter and team player.
  • Excellent in time management and (personal) organization.
  • Source of inspiration for your team and colleagues.
  • Sales experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the PMS System Opera is an advantage.
