Job Description
ASML is seeking a highly skilled Account Lead to join our Strategic Sourcing & Procurement sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive supplier performance and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive supplier performance and cost savings.
- Negotiate contracts and represent Sourcing in complex internal projects.
- Manage day-to-day contact with strategic suppliers and track all communication for full transparency.
- Prepare and oversee supplier negotiations, including tactics, spend base analysis, script, dry-run, and orchestrating stakeholders involved.
- Track and formalize supplier performance by executing Supplier Profile reviews based on Quality, Technology, Logistics, Cost, and Sustainability (QLTCS).
- Formal decision making and flagging and resolving escalations in time with the Senior Account Lead and/or Group Supplier Manager.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in physics, engineering, electronics, or another technical field preferred.
- Minimally 10 years' work experience, ideally in strategic procurement in a technology-intensive industry.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills up to executive level.
- Strong vision of supplier landscape and technology roadmap.
- Strong supplier relationship skills, continuously demanding of suppliers' performance.
