Job Title: Global Innovation Finance Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Innovation Finance Controller to join our team. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our Global Innovation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis and Planning: Lead and manage innovation opex and capex spend, and major processes including budget, RAF, actual reporting, and allocations.
  • Business Partnership: Serve as a trusted financial advisor to Innovation leaders and stakeholders to support and challenge the S&R team to manage spend and allocations.
  • Accounting and Compliance: Ensure capitalization and depreciations rules are followed. Consolidation and risk mitigation. Lead audit and communication requirements.
  • Supply/Demand Process: Coordinate and lead supply/demand process. Provide transparency and reporting in resulting allocation.
  • Project Support: Support and participate in other projects as needed (could be cross-functional and cross-regional).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Accounting.
  • 5-10 years' experience working in an FP&A, In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts. Innovation experience is a plus.
  • Extraordinary analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Ability to anticipate issues and ensure integrity and accuracy of data while being capable of higher-level interpretation and explanation.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across functions and groups, with effective communication and proactive alignment.
  • Proven expertise in modeling techniques and managing large data sets, as well as IT literacy and allocation methodologies.
