Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Solution Architect to join our team at DSM. As a key member of our digital architecture team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our company's product domain.

About the Role

As a Digital Solution Architect, you will be responsible for defining, communicating, and driving the technology landscape for our product domain. This includes:

  • Defining and communicating the technology strategy and roadmap for the product domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.
  • Collaborating with senior business stakeholders to understand their requirements, objectives, and constraints.
  • Designing a comprehensive high-level architecture for the solution, encompassing all necessary components and addressing key dimensions of people, process, technology, and data.
  • Establishing and promoting design principles and standards, evaluating available technology options to recommend the optimal approach.
  • Ensuring the future sustainability of our planet by prioritizing green-IT as part of the target architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the product domain, including business capabilities, processes, and technologies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication of technology strategies and roadmaps.
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in IT consulting functions, with a focus on functional and technical consultancy for IT systems and engineering and software architecture design.
  • Excellent knowledge and deep understanding of IT/Digital technologies, including product lifecycle management, product and service creation, and product portfolio management.
  • Excellent knowledge of the main processes and business capabilities in the product domain.
  • Bachelor's/Master degree in IT or product innovation, creation, or manufacturing-related study.
  • Experience in understanding the stakeholder landscape and management.
