Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Information Security Management System (ISMS), you will develop and implement robust security processes to safeguard patient health information and protect our company assets. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with regional data protection regulations and ISO 27001 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, monitor, and govern Nicolab's information security framework according to ISO 27001:2022 and other relevant standards;
  • Host bi-weekly Information Security Committee meetings to discuss security aspects related to our product and company with representatives from various departments;
  • Maintain a proactive, security-responsible culture by communicating and training personnel on cyber security policies, procedures, and best practices;
  • Plan, manage, execute, and follow up on control checks defined by Annex A of ISO 27001 to ensure the correct implementation of defined processes;
  • Organize and conduct internal audits to assess continued compliance to ISO 27001 (and NEN 7510) and host external audits for surveillance and recertification audits for ISO 27001 (and NEN 7510);
  • Manage Nicolab's Information security risk management file.

Requirements:

  • BSc degree or higher in engineering or a related field;
  • 3+ years of experience in information security, data protection, information technology, or software development;
  • A broad interest in all aspects of information security, data protection, and cyber security;
  • A strong track record of taking ownership and responsibility for security aspects within an organization and communicating proactively throughout the organization;
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 (IS in healthcare) preferred;
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO 13485, ISO 14973, GDPR, and HIPAA is highly valued;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in English, with additional languages a plus.
