About the Role

We are working with a Global Technology Client based in Amsterdam to find a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen their security controls and protect critical data and infrastructure.

This is an urgent 6-month contract with an excellent immediate start. Our client seeks a skilled professional to use expertise to counter threats, detect vulnerabilities, and respond effectively to incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mitigate and remediate vulnerabilities to ensure business continuity.
  • Provide guidance on security hardening efforts to maintain a secure environment.
  • Design and implement robust security measures for infrastructure to prevent data breaches.
  • Manage detection and response capabilities to minimize downtime.
  • Lead and participate in incident response teams to address security threats promptly.
  • Train IT teams to handle security-related issues efficiently.
  • Define and enforce security policies to maintain compliance.
  • Build scalable security systems focused on user experience to enhance productivity.
  • Promote security awareness through training and documentation to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 8+ years of experience in SAP Security.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP Cyber Security.
  • Expertise in tech infrastructure and risk-based prioritization.
  • Awareness of threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation measures.
  • Familiarity with SecurityBridge (must have).
  • Experience with Kibana/Elastic or other SIEM tools (nice to have).
  • Skilled in defining hardening guidelines for SAP products.
  • Strong understanding of SAP security fundamentals, authentication, database, and network security.
