Pricing and Tender Team Lead

As a key member of the EMEA Pricing and Tender Organization within Customer Care, this position is responsible for leading and developing the performance and processes of Tender, Quotes, and Contracts management across BeNeLux. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that all tender and contracts are submitted to a high quality, identifying additional value-add opportunities.
Your Responsibilities:- Provide daily management and direction of the Pricing and Tender team, monitoring team performance against service indicators and initiating corrective actions.
- Continuously identify and pursue opportunities for process improvement and harmonization, supporting a value improvement culture within the team.
- Support and collaborate in EMEA Pricing and Tender initiatives, including implementation and change support on a local level.
- Work closely with other tender teams across EMEA to share and learn best practices, which can be leveraged locally within the BeNeLux team.
- Support key stakeholders to ensure quotes and tenders are submitted and implemented in a timely manner, at a professional level, and according to legal requirements.
- Develop first-class relationships within the organization, building a partnership approach with business leaders, legal counsel, sales teams, and identifying sales enhancement opportunities.
- Perform all personnel management activities for BeNeLux Pricing and Tender staff, including recruitment, training, performance appraisal, salary management, and professional development in collaboration with the HR Manager.
- Support the review of terms, conditions, and quality submission of all tendering and contract documentation.
- Report upwards to the Pricing and Tender Manager DACH + BeNeLux, with a connection to the Regional Customer Care Manager regarding strategic initiatives to improve the team year on year.
- Stay up-to-date with local rules and legislations regarding public and private tenders.
- Demonstrate awareness of broad industry trends and their impact on local/regional sales activities, with a particular focus on the procurement initiatives in BeNeLux.
- Represent the Pricing and Tender team in case of internal or external audits in close collaboration with Customer Care Management.
- Several years' experience from public tendering and procurement in the healthcare sector, either from industry or from the health sector.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence and communicate through different layers in the organization.
- Analytical skills and business mindset.
- Highly detailed, structured, and organized.
- Strong willingness to actively take on and exemplify responsibility and to positively guide your own team through change processes.
- Resilience and foresight, even in pressure situations, as well as the ability to manage both internal and customer projects, to work independently under tight deadlines, and to motivate others.
- Excellent Dutch and English skills, French is a recommended plus.

- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including federal/country and regulatory requirements.
- Solid understanding of reading and writing contracts.
- Understanding of the procurement landscape in BeNeLux.
