About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sustainability Manager to join our team at Allseas. As a Sustainability Manager, you will play a crucial role in contributing to our mission of shifting boundaries of offshore technology. Your focus will be on developing and maintaining policies, governance structure, sustainability initiatives, and targets that align with the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and relevant Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) related frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Define Sustainability policies, strategy, and framework in line with CSRD.
  2. Preside Allseas ESG Committee, including quarterly reporting on performance of KPIs, targets, and Actions of ESG topics.
  3. Supervise and motivate the Sustainability team.
  4. Inform on developments on directives and legislation regarding ESG topics in the EU and operating countries.
  5. Develop internal competencies in Sustainability as a knowledge centre in order to increase the coherence implementation of Sustainability principles throughout the company.
  6. Manage the Stakeholder Engagement process and actively engage with stakeholders to promote understanding of each other's needs, policies, and strategies.
  7. Promote Sustainability policy and Actions to internal and external stakeholders with the focus on clients, partners, and suppliers, attend conferences.
  8. Collaborate with corporate communication department to develop internal and external communications strategy and messaging to promote Allseas Sustainability strategy and framework.
  9. Identify the principal adverse impacts connected with Allseas' operations and value chain.
  10. Develop and manage an organisation for implementation of Sustainability Actions in relevant Functions, Operations, and Offices throughout Allseas.
  11. Support, engage, and collaborate with the Finance, Social & Environmental Functions.
  12. Collaborate with functions to meet client and/or projects ESG requirements. (Innovations, Operations, Project Management, (Q)HSE, Technical, Finance)
  13. Collaborate with Finance function for reporting of ESG KPIs to meet ESRS requirements.
  14. Support assessment of the operational risks/opportunities and financial impact of changing environmental and social legislation on current and future operations.
  15. Approve the estimated financial and cost impacts of the Action plans.
  16. Implement the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD)

Requirements

  1. At least three years of experience with ESG, GRI, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), ISO, or other sustainability initiatives within a company.
  2. Experience with managing sustainability initiatives.
  3. Understanding of ESG standards, practices, and regulations.
  4. BSc or MSc in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability Studies, or Business Administration is desirable.
  5. Good communication skills with an ability to connect and interact in a positive manner.
