DEME's heavy lift vessels are actively involved in the construction, installation, and maintenance of offshore wind farms, as well as the installation and decommissioning of offshore structures. Our team utilizes innovative techniques and high-tech equipment to deliver projects for our clients. As a Second Mate DPO, you will perform duties in accordance with STCW and assist the 1st Mate.

You will be responsible for the DP operations of a jack-up platform in the DEME Offshore fleet. You will ensure that all operations are performed in a safe, efficient, and productive manner. Depending on your experience and certification, you will be assigned as Second Mate with corresponding responsibilities.
- You must have a maritime education from a nautical institution.
- You must hold a Certificate of Competency II/1 or higher (STCW95).
- You must be Full DP Certified for DP2 vessels.
- You must have a valid Seaman's Book.
- You must have a valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
- You must have a valid Passport.
- Preferably, you have a BOSIET or HUET certificate.
- You must have at least 3 years of offshore experience.
- You must be communicative and problem-solving.
- You must have a hands-on and no-nonsense mentality.
- You must speak and write English fluently.
