This role invites qualified candidates to engage with the Division of Cardiology, collaborating closely with the Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Health (HKSTP) to explore cutting-edge strategies aimed at addressing cardiovascular and genetic disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively on research initiatives focusing on gene-editing and innovative therapeutic strategies for cardiovascular and hereditary conditions.
- Effectively execute assigned responsibilities and tasks.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or a related discipline.
- Robust expertise in stem cell research and molecular biology, with a specific emphasis on gene-editing techniques.
- Experience with methodologies such as CAS9/CRISPR, Patch clamp analysis, ion-optic based calcium assessment, and animal surgical procedures is preferred.
Benefits
This position is temporary, lasting between 1 to 3 years, with the possibility of renewal contingent upon performance and funding availability. The role offers a competitive salary package, inclusive of benefits such as annual leave, medical insurance, and access to campus facilities.
