Software Designer Role at Sioux Technologies

At Sioux Technologies, we're looking for a skilled Software Designer to join our team. As a Software Designer, you'll play a crucial role in preparing requirements and creating software design, implementation, integration, and quality. Your goal will be to advance towards a role where you provide technical control to the software development team and make your own contributions to design, realization, and integration.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate creative skills during the conceptual phase of projects, translating requirements into innovative, clear, and realistic concepts.
  • Act as a bridge between architects and engineers from a technical perspective.
  • Assume responsibility for a module/sub-system throughout the whole software cycle.
  • Possess strong communication skills to effectively guide and mentor a team of senior engineers.

Requirements:
  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science.
  • You have at least 7 years of experience in software development in the high-tech industry, such as semiconductor, analytical, or medical.
  • You have experience in building software that includes data-driven and/or system dynamics and/or control solutions.
  • You act as a technical lead in a team of three to seven persons.
  • You have experience with modern C++ and feel confident using Python or C# for different operating systems, including state machine and real-time aspects.
  • You have proven experience with various development methods and technologies (OOAD, Agile, TDD, MDSD, etc.).
  • You're open to working flexible times and willing to travel abroad.
