PhD Researcher in Human-Exosuit Interaction

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our research team at the University of Twente. The successful candidate will work on developing novel models of human-exosuit interaction during movement, with a focus on improving the efficiency and comfort of these systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and validate novel models of human-exosuit interfaces during movement
- Apply machine learning techniques to improve the efficiency and comfort of exosuit systems
- Collaborate with our research team to design and conduct experiments to validate the models
- MSc degree in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields
- Experience with reinforcement learning in Python and C++
- Knowledge of biomechanical modeling of human or robot movement
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A full-time four-year PhD position
- A starting salary of € 2,872,- in the first year and growing to € 3,670,- in the fourth year gross per month
- 30% tax ruling option
- A holiday allowance of 8% of the gross annual salary and a year-end bonus of 8.3%
- A minimum of 29 holidays in case of full-time employment
