Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Indirect Tax Manager to lead our global tax strategy and operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our indirect tax functions—including sales tax, VAT, GST, and other transaction-based taxes—to ensure compliance, optimize tax positions, and support our global expansion initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Tax Compliance & Reporting:
  • Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  • Conduct regular internal reviews to ensure compliance with evolving tax laws and internal policies.

Process Improvement & Strategy:

  • Develop and implement effective indirect tax processes and systems, leveraging automation and technology solutions where possible.
  • Identify opportunities for tax efficiency and risk mitigation, partnering with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in indirect tax compliance, planning, or advisory roles, preferably within ecommerce, retail, or a digital environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sales tax, VAT, GST, and other indirect tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions; US preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with tax automation tools and ERP systems.
