About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Combat Systems Integration Manager. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for the integration of combat systems on the F126 frigates for the German Navy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the integration of combat systems with the Combat System Integrator and the platform engineering department.
  • Take responsibility for the delivery of engineering services for the team.
  • Lead and participate in meetings with the customer, suppliers, and other Damen Naval departments.
  • Manage team resource planning and ensure all members have the required capabilities.
  • Manage day-to-day work and short- and medium-term planning of the team.
  • Ensure the development, validation, availability, and planning of combat systems engineering products and services within agreed schedules and quality and cost limits.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in engineering and subcontract management, preferably in complex combat systems.
  • Good command of English and German language (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrable experience in working in large, complex, multinational project environments.
  • Understanding of various engineering concepts and practices.
  • Available for significant and frequent business travel and work abroad.
  • Excellent references and a permanent EU citizenship and passport are required.
