As our QMS Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and sustainable operation of our fleet, while maintaining compliance with international, statutory, class, and local regulations.
Key Accountabilities- Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the maintenance of valid Flag-State, Class, IMO, and MARPOL-required certificates.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Marine Superintendents, DPA Italy, Fleetteam Operators, and the RFMO Compliance Officer.
- Coordinate security measures for high-risk voyages and act as the Company Security Officer (CSO).
- Ensure ISM/ISO compliance both onboard and ashore, and manage internal and external audits.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in maritime safety and environmental compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in maritime studies, with at least 5 years of sea experience (Captain-level preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years in a (semi) managerial position in a relevant field.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a team-oriented approach.
- Exceptional communication skills in both English and Dutch.
- Proven problem-solving abilities, particularly under high-pressure situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database applications, with excellent analytical skills.
