Senior Life Sciences Consultant

We are seeking a Senior Life Sciences Consultant to join our Dutch Analytics Solutions & Consulting team at IQVIA Netherlands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for client/project leadership, business development, and people/operational leadership to support clients based in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, create, and develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients, driving department revenue and profitability within Life Sciences.
- Develop and deliver insightful, value-added solutions that address complex client issues and create tangible client impact.
- Take the lead role in ongoing engagements, managing the client interface and the project team.
- Join the IQVIA NL Commercial Management Team to identify commercial opportunities and challenges to the industry and clients, and develop tangible and commercial offerings.
- Work with the IQVIA NL business development community on account management to co-create new opportunities.
- Maintain in-depth relationships with senior management client teams.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of client strategies, the industry, and healthcare trends.
- Contribute to the awareness of IQVIA driving IQVIA's mission and vision in the marketplace through speaking engagements, client meetings, and publications.
- Mentor, coach, and share subject matter/domain expertise with others to support organizational, team, and individual development.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of work experience in healthcare (Life Sciences) consultancy or related fields.
- MSc. or equivalent degree in biomedical sciences, epidemiology, business, communication, healthcare, or other potentially relevant backgrounds.
- Clear understanding of the Dutch healthcare system, its bottlenecks, and a drive to contribute to a positive change by collaborating with Life Science companies.
- Proven seller of multi-faceted strategic engagements to Life Sciences companies.
- Proven manager of multi-faceted strategic engagements to Life Sciences companies.
- Extensive network within Life Sciences companies in the Netherlands.
- Excellent client partner with proven ability to build relationships, identify client pain points, and develop custom solutions.
- Passionate about innovation, excellent problem solver, proactive, and hands-on.
- Successful mentor and leader who enables excellence in others.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Affinity and experience with relevant life science themes such as HCP engagement, Omnichannel applications, AI in healthcare, Real World Insights, Launch, Loss of Exclusivity, Commercial Excellence, Brand strategy, etc.
- Ideal therapeutic area expertise in vaccines, cell & gene therapies, diagnostics, or other relevant disease areas.

The Dutch Analytics Solutions team is a Consulting team of > 30 professionals with a diverse background and expertise such as real-world data, Biomedical Sciences, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, business, market research, data analytics, linguistics, communication, social psychology, and omnichannel.
Within Analytics Solutions, we are dedicated to accelerating innovation and efficiency in healthcare together with our clients. We do this by executing projects for our Life Sciences and healthcare clients based on the combination of data, advanced analytics, and domain expertise. We partner with commercial, medical, and business insights teams in the Life Sciences sector (Pharmaceutical, MedTech, and Consumer Health companies) to support them in leveraging and interpreting data and making evidenced-based decisions for their strategy.
Our team has a strong presence within the Dutch IQVIA organization, and our Amsterdam office offers lots of opportunities to develop your own ideas in collaboration with a diverse and talented group of coworkers and to connect with colleagues in and outside of work.
Location:
This is a hybrid role that allows working in the office, working from home, and meeting clients F2F. Our office is based in Amsterdam Zuid-Oost.
