We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our team at Philips. As a Six Sigma expert, you will be part of the Design Quality Engineering team, responsible for developing safe, robust, and compliant medical products.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Six Sigma Black Belt and Green Belt training, both DFSS and DMAIC;
- Coach Black Belt/Green Belt candidates to certification and successful project completion;
- Work with the Six Sigma team to update and maintain training materials;
- Actively participate in the Global Philips Six Sigma community and promote Six Sigma in R&D and other relevant communities;
- Work on projects to maintain hands-on quality engineering experience and stay updated with the latest innovation developments (approximately 25% of the time).
You will be part of a highly talented and experienced team of engineers, scientists, and architects supporting Philips Business Units. Our team is part of the Quality and Reliability department within the Innovation and Strategy organization.
Requirements- Passionate about applying DfSS in the Innovation domain - Design for Quality;
- R&D background and mindset with knowledge of product and software development;
- Working experience with Medical regulated environment is preferred;
- A certified Six Sigma Black Belt and willing to further develop towards Master Black Belt certification;
- A talented trainer, able to explain complex concepts in easy-to-understand terms;
- Coaching skill, able to coach Black Belt/Green Belt candidates to certification and successful project completion;
- Strong team player;
- Willing to travel up to 20 percent: deliver trainings, onsite support.
