About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Marel. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our machines at customer sites across West Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and execute installation jobs, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Conduct service visits, troubleshooting production issues and providing technical support to customers.
  • Manage local employees in larger installation projects, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Keep customers informed of progress and provide training and feedback to colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve service delivery.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Mechanical or Mechatronical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and controls engineering is an advantage.
  • Strong affinity with process engineering and/or food production.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel regionally and work independently.
