Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Lyreco Group. This is a unique opportunity to take on a challenging role and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

About the Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for supporting the SBU Category Managers in the daily management of the group offering on safety products. This will involve working closely with the Purchasing Director to manage group suppliers, ensure proper contract management, and correct pricing of the group assortment.

You will also be responsible for creating items requested by subsidiaries in the SAP/STEP database, supporting the Purchasing Director and Group Category Managers in the preparation, delivery, and tracking of operational, analytical, and presentation material associated with driving category strategy forward.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in managing supplier relationships, product knowledge, and data analysis.

Main Responsibilities
  • Managing the group product range through strong partnerships with Group Category Managers
  • Supporting the formalisation of group suppliers
  • Participating in category life (product and supplier knowledge)
  • Assisting in product and supplier selection, creation, and follow-up
  • Communicating with and supporting subsidiaries on product and supplier topics

You will also be responsible for ensuring the consistency of supplier product content received by the content team and attending supplier meetings to aid personal development.

Key Deliverables
  • Producing offer deliverables in line with the annual schedule (key dates)
  • Creating, communicating, and updating Group Bible listings
  • Creating, collecting, communicating, and updating Group Purchasing Supplier Price lists
  • Supporting subsidiaries in understanding and using deliverables

In addition, you will be responsible for managing the SAP product database, processing code requests, guaranteeing the maintenance of the database, and supporting subsidiaries in understanding creation and modification processes/documents.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of product databases and data analysis tools

You should have a strong understanding of business development principles, excellent time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. A salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, is offered for this position.
