Transform into a Credible CRA I

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for clinical research? Do you have 1 year or less of clinical experience? The Accelerated Program of Education, Exposure, and Experience for CRAs (APEX CRA) provides foundational clinical research training to new CRA hires who are recent college graduates and have less than a year of monitoring experience.

Program Overview

Through this program, you'll gain hands-on experience with clinical systems, including Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS), Electronic Data Capture, Safety Information Systems, and TMF platforms. You'll work closely with CRAs to gain exposure to and experience with the CRA role and its responsibilities across a period of three to six months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical monitoring activities under supervision from the COL/LM
  • Manage multiple tasks, evaluate unpredictable scenarios, and achieve project timelines
  • Apply your understanding of study protocol(s) to ensure successful monitoring
  • Develop strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills within a matrixed team
Requirements
  • Previous relevant work experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in biological science, pharmacy, or other health-related discipline
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of CTMS, EDMS, and MS-Office products
  • Language skills: English mandatory, with additional language skills required for specific locations (e.g., French and Dutch for Belgium)
