Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our research team in the field of political corruption and media. The successful candidate will be part of an international research project funded by the European Union, focusing on the social construction of corruption in the public sphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research on the role of media in shaping public perceptions of corruption
  • Developing and implementing a research design to investigate the impact of media reporting on citizens' problem awareness and political participation
  • Collaborating with the project team to analyze and interpret research findings
  • Presenting research results at international conferences and publishing in top-tier academic journals

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Communication Science, Political Science, or a related field
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
  • Strong research skills and experience with data analysis and qualitative interviewing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
