About the Role

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled QESH Officer to join our team. As a QESH Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QESH management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide proactive advice and support to operational management and staff on QESH-related matters, including regulations, compliance, and environmental issues.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and quality, and to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees are aware of QESH policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal and external reports, and provide data and insights to support business decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, safety management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a complex and multidimensional organization, with a strong background in QESH management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficiency in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant industry standards.
