Job Title: Internal Auditor

Job Summary:

The Internal Auditor will play a crucial role in providing independent assurance to the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors, ensuring that the controls throughout the Group's operations are adequate and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an audit plan to strengthen the internal audit framework.
  • Review and assess the performance and effectiveness of current internal controls, identifying risk areas and control weaknesses.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Verify the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of management information produced within Envipco.
  • Present audit findings to relevant stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement to enhance internal controls and risk management practices.
  • Implement control mechanisms to ensure that internal governance, risk, and compliance are embedded in the organization's processes and procedures.
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and management action plans to address identified risks and weaknesses.
  • Develop and deliver training courses to increase organizational awareness of good internal governance, risk, and compliance practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or related fields, with a focus on global operations.
  • Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, audit planning, and executing audit procedures in a global environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify root causes of issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and Dutch.
  • Experience with ISO 27001 and SOC1 & 2 is desirable.
