Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team, responsible for providing independent assurance to our Audit Committee and Board of Directors. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and assessing our internal controls, identifying risk areas, and implementing control mechanisms to ensure effective risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an audit plan to strengthen our internal audit framework.
- Conduct risk assessments and reviews of internal controls to identify areas for improvement.
- Assess compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Present audit findings to stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Implement control mechanisms to ensure effective risk management practices.
- Track and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 7 years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch.
- Experience with ISO 27001 and SOC1 & 2 is desirable.
