Job Description

Stichting Red een Kind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Programs Coordinator. This position is a key part of our team, responsible for managing disaster response programs and partners in two countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage disaster response programs and partners in two countries
  • Lead the Dutch Relief Alliance (DRA) consortium in South Sudan
  • Manage a portfolio of projects in one other country
  • Represent Help a Child within the Dutch Relief Alliance in the Netherlands
  • Oversee all reporting to the DRA, ensuring compliance with financial, programmatic, and monitoring & evaluation requirements

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as humanitarian aid, development, or international relations
  • At least five years of experience and expertise in managing large-scale, strategically important projects and in humanitarian work
  • Passionate and pro-active person who is deeply motivated to make a difference for children in need
  • Experience in Help a Child's focus areas: Child Protection, Emergency Education, and Food Security & Livelihood
  • Strong networking skills and sensitivity for social and political dynamics within consortia
  • Team player who can effectively motivate and coordinate teams
