Job Description

The Category Management department consists of several category managers who oversee our product assortment, managing both our own purchased products and Partner products. As a Commercial Assistant, you will support these category managers with administrative tasks to enable rapid growth.

  • Answer questions from suppliers and partners
  • Create products in our systems
  • Maintain contact with internal departments about product inquiries
  • Arrange samples with suppliers for photography purposes
  • Assist category managers with promotions
  • Follow up with suppliers for correct content and images
  • Create analyses on competitors or suppliers
  • Process supplier information

You will be responsible for various tasks such as supporting purchasing activities, assisting in promotions and pricing processes, maintaining contact with suppliers, preventing and investigating invoice discrepancies, and coordinating the sample and/or photography process with suppliers. You will also administratively create and update supplier information, ensuring that suppliers provide accurate content and images on time.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A completed MBO education with 1-2 years of (administrative) work experience
  • Or an HBO graduate, preferably in an administrative field
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
  • Strong communication skills
  • A structured way of working
  • Proficient with various software systems
