About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Office Intern at Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam - North Riverside.

As a Front Office Intern, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth check-in process. You will also be responsible for handling complaints, maximizing room occupancy, and promoting hotel services and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, including checking guests in and out, handling room assignments, and processing payments.
  • Room Sales and Marketing: Promote hotel services and facilities to guests, including room upgrades, packages, and special offers.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements
  • Education: Currently enrolled in an MBO/HBO degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field of study.
  • Language: Fluent in English, and preferably in Dutch.
  • Citizenship: EU/EEA national or enrolled in a Dutch institution.
