Senior Account Manager

We are seeking an ambitious Key Account Manager with a proven track record in the photonics industry to join our commercial team at SMART Photonics.
Responsibilities:- Foster strategic relationships with customers to drive long-term business growth and nurture customer feedback as a key driver of our success.
- Act as the 'Voice of the Customer' within the organization, challenging internal stakeholders and striving for continuous improvement.
- Implement and improve a structured Key Account Management approach aligned with our mission to become the trusted TIER 1 foundry in InP.
- Guide team members in their growth and development, setting an example.
- Collaborate with the Product Management team to provide customer insights and inform SMART's Technology Roadmap.
- Represent SMART Photonics at customer visits, events, and exhibitions, showcasing our company's expertise and values.
- Lead the successful launch of new products, working closely with other departments to create a solid go-to-market strategy.
- Ensure solid administration, data collection, and analysis, providing measurable and factual statistics and KPIs.
- Master's degree in a technical field.
- Experience in an account management role with a proven track record of managing photonics or complex semiconductor device customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage unforeseen situations.
- Resilience and understanding of the challenges of a scale-up in a new technology where the 'mature' product does not yet exist.
- Open to travel up to 25% of the time, on a global scale.
- Proven ability to drive results and meet or exceed business objectives.
- Onsite presence required, with the option to work from home 25% of the time.
- Flawless verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels and functions within the customer organization.
- Outstanding knowledge of the English language.
