Commercial Manager Projects Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager Projects to join our team at Boskalis. As a key member of our Salvage business unit, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing new business opportunities, leading tender processes, and conducting market research.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Initiating and leading business development efforts, including networking opportunities with clients and subcontractors.
- Developing and furthering business opportunities for complex wreck removal and projects.
- Proposing bid strategies and partnering opportunities.
- Drawing up Tender and Progress Plans.
- Managing and monitoring tender processes in accordance with our quality system.
- Consulting with clients to obtain required information and visiting project sites as necessary.
- Engaging with the supply chain to identify capabilities necessary for project realization and evaluating proposals from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Compiling bid documentation in consultation with the Operations Director and Managing Director.
- Providing input for commercial/pricing strategy and risk management to the Management Team.
- Presenting proposals to clients, clarifying and negotiating contracts.
- Fulfilling a coordinating role in joint venture offers where the interests of SMIT Salvage and the Boskalis group must be protected.

To be successful in this role, you will have a commercial and competitive drive, with the ability to rapidly build relationships in an international playing field. You will be a team player, a persuasive conversation partner, and able to communicate effectively at various levels. You will also have strong analytical skills, a proactive and hands-on approach, and be able to recognize the various interests of different stakeholders involved.
