Internship Overview

As a Global Treasury and Data Analytics Intern at our international headquarters, you will gain valuable hands-on experience by supporting the Treasury Front Office. This role will enhance your understanding of global financial markets and develop your strategic financial decision-making capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the development of an efficient cash flow forecasting process.
  • Creating tailored Business Intelligence dashboards utilizing modern data visualization tools (such as PowerBi, Tableau, etc.).
  • Supporting the Treasury Front Office in overseeing global liquidity and cash management.
  • Analyzing cash balances and foreign exchange exposures to recommend strategies that mitigate risks and optimize returns, including identifying inefficiencies and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Contributing to ongoing Treasury initiatives aimed at process enhancement and automation.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and bring fresh perspectives.

Qualifications:

  • Academic Background: You should be enrolled in a Master's program throughout the internship, ideally in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Econometrics, or a related discipline.
  • Skills: Proficiency in both spoken and written English is essential, along with a strong interest in Finance. Advanced Excel skills are required, including familiarity with functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and SUM-IFs. Experience in coding/scripting, data visualization, and knowledge of Microsoft PowerPlatform would be beneficial.
  • Personal Attributes: A structured approach, a proactive and enthusiastic personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently are essential.
  • Commitment: You should be prepared to dedicate a minimum of six months to this internship.
  • Availability: The internship requires a commitment of 4-5 days per week, including a mix of in-office and remote work.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Your internship must be part of your academic curriculum and contribute to your academic achievements.
  • Your educational institution must be willing to establish a collaboration agreement with JDE Peet's.
  • You should be either an EU(EEA) student residing in the Netherlands or a Non-EU(EEA) student enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.
